Dear, dear persistent Google searchers, I'm here to help you -- it's Mates of State in that AT&T Wireless commercial (it's not for Verizon -- though I'm sure AT&T's ad agency might be interested to hear about the brand confusion).
The featured song is "For The Actor" off their latest on Barsuk, Bring It Back.
Bonus, an old fave: Mates of State -- Ha Ha 0ff Team Boo (Polyvinyl)
Labels: indie rock in commercials, mates of state

What I really want to know is who's providing the music for that Sprint commercial where all the people are doing light drawnings for the camera. The one where it seems like they're in this park all night long and, at the end, the morning arrives and everyone leaves. It's an instrumental piece, which makes it incredibly hard to isolate through a google search.
It's "Souvenirs" by Architecture In Helsinki. (;
Clairvoyant Googling, sweeheart.
Oh schweet! Thank you.
That's what I'm here for!
Love that Abba homage in photo. Thanks for that. Haven't seen the original since my parents' basement circa 1980.
Y'welcome! Isn't that the best?
Oof, all of Sean McCabe's work -- photographical and design -- literally takes my breath away. He's so smart, visually. Incredible.
No, no...
I'm googling the Nip/Tuck commercial...a cover song...but I can't place the song...Know that one??
